Thai Woman Freed From Jail For Winning a Fight

Thai inmate Samson Sor Siriporn was imprisoned for dealing drugs about seven years ago. She took up boxing just to pass the time. On Tuesday the "Bangkok Hilton" prison allowed her to fight against Japan's Ayaka Miyano in the women's WBC light-flyweight competition.

The song by the Thermal's called "Here's Your Future" is probably about President Bush and the soldiers. I think it's talking about the soldiers having to go to war and being afraid. President Bush represents God and Noah represents the soldiers.

Billy Collins' Poetry

Billy Collins' poems are very unique and different. They kind of made me laugh, especially the one about the bread and the knife. The one about the lanyard seemed like a personal experience of his. It seemed like he felt like he should have given his mother more than a lanyard.

Using Jstor

Using Jstor is pretty simple. Just log into black board and click the USF library tab at the top and then click Tampa library, then click on databases and type in JSTOR. Once you get to the website, you can click on "search" and then you have different search options.

Logical or emotional arguments?

I tend to use both logical and emotinal arguments depending on what the situation is. I use emotional arguments when I know I can have an effect on their emotions. If i want to convince someone of something and I know they are sensitive to the situation i use emotional arguments.
